This informal seminar will provide the participant with an opportunity to learn basic techniques and recent advances on a few selected topics of differential equations with symbolic computation, to present his or her own research, and to discuss his or her work, ideas, and new findings with others. The scientific program of the seminar will feature invited talks and contributed presentations.

Invited Speakers

Aim and Scope

One clear objective of the seminar is to bring together foreign experts and Chinese researchers actively working on symbolic methods and techniques for differential equations to exchange ideas, views, and new results and to build up contacts for future cooperation. If you are interested in attending this seminar and giving a 30-minute talk, please send the title and an abstract of your talk to the organizers by August 27, 2023. Your work on any aspect interrelating differential equations with symbolic computation will be considered for presentation at the seminar. Specific topics include:

  • Symbolic integration and solution of differential equations

  • Differential algebra, differential algebraic geometry, and differential Galois theory

  • Symbolic methods for qualitative analysis of differential equations and dynamical systems

  • Applications of symbolic computation in differential equations

  • Differential equations for symbolic-numeric computation

There is no registration fee for the seminar. Partial financial support for the local expenses of a limited number of participants will be provided. Lodging and travel information will be sent to each potential participant.
